Learning to navigate life with DID when you feel like…

Three Kids in a Trench Coat

Our experiences living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), and reflections on navigating life as ‘we’ & ‘me’

About Us

Whaddup, I’m Riley, a PhD Psychologist in my early 40s, living in the UK. I’m transfemme non-binary / genderfluid, and my greatest loves are dancing, nature, & video games. And music. And art. And boxing. And… yeah, some things it just depends which of us you ask xD

I say that because with me is my inner fam; parts of me that have their own voices & ways of being; dancing through life together.

We’re a system of 12, currently. I say 12, but it’s 13 if you include Riley, I guess – but when we move through the world, we all just go by Riley – Us, Together.

Therapeutically, we’ve been in therapy for Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) since Jan ’24. But, often we describe our deal as, “plurality” – because my parts aren’t the problem, the complex trauma underneath is. That’s what we’re all trying to heal from – the fact ‘I’ am a ‘we’ is just part of how we survived this long.

So welcome to the madhouse. We’re glad you’re here ❤
